What a dreamy day in the Vail Valley for this local couple. Perfect weather, a couple in love, and the most beautiful outdoor wedding location- days like these make me so happy as a Vail wedding photographer! We started the day with an intimate first look with the couple, nestled between a babbling creek and the changing fall leaves.

Our couples portrait time was spent strolling through the shaded grass, surrounded by the running stream and fall foliage. This time of year in Vail is so etherial for weddings (and photography in general), with the light changing on the seasons before fall has fully arrived. The bride was glowing like the soft Autumn light shining through the yellow leaves of the trees. I love being able to have some time with my couples on a wedding day before the ceremony for photos- you can really tell they can both relax and start to settle into the day.

The rest of the evening was spent with family and bridal portraits, a beautiful ceremony, and dinner with drinks and dancing under the Colorado sky. It was a truly beautiful day for a Vail wedding!
